Just lettin you know, I am no professional gaming journalist person, however, I'm going to put down my impressions for the new super smash bros game from what I've seen in the trailer. You don't like me doing this? Too bad 
First off, first impressions. This trailer amazed me. I feel chills and goosebumps from how amazing it looks. I mean, the music? Epic. The cinematics mixed in with gameplay? Awesome. Personally, if i hadn't played all of the super smash bros game before hand, and i had seen the trailer, i probably would buy the damn game simply because it looked so freaking awesome.
Now, deeper into the game. First of all, new stages (holy s*** they look awesome, my favourite has to be the wrestling ring). They seem sort of similair to the older games in terms of platforms available for fighting. But the background. I mean, oh my god that back ground. Tis amazing, i may even just stare at that cute puppy playing about in the nintendo dogs map *cough cough*.
Second of all, moves. Now, when i play super smash bros i don't focus on all the technical fighting margin, however, i noticed that some characters seem to have new moves, or moves that have been changed a bit. For example, BOWSER HAS A FREAKING DROP KICK!
and it's awesome! Donkey kings up b move seems a bit different aswell, the animation is more realistic in a way and his rotation is much different. It may mean that it may have a slightly different effect if he's in the air (he may be able to move up as well as move sideways whilst using that move in the air)
Thirdly. Characters. Most of the original ssb veterans are there. Mario, pikachu, kirby, fox, donkey kong yet they didn't mention Yoshi. Odd. Also. two knew characters have been introduced. The villager from animal crossing and MEGAMAN, one of the most wanted characters for super smash bros brawl (other than Shadow the hedgehog that is). Now, megaman himself not only has his classical moves, he has the moves from some familiar Willy Robots that he had defeated in the games. I doubt that he can switch between them as if they were stances, but more like they'll be used for special moves (like the rocket fist being b down since it's a meteor smash).
Now, at the mo, I'm not sure what to think of the villager. I mean, i never played animal crossing, so I'm not exactly sure what to expect from him. I will NOT think of him as a bad character though (considering how in ultimate marvel vs capcom a lawyer of all people is seen as one of the deadliest characters to both use, defend and attack against).
All in all, the game seems pretty cool so far. I'm just waiting for them to introduce more characters (Captain falcon please?) and for them to give a more precise relase date.
